Balgarovo has a rich history. On the
territory of the town have been discovered
settlement mounds, remains from prehistoric
settlements from the Bronze and Iron ages
and from the Ancient Times. The town is
mentioned in the Ottoman registry books from
1676. After the Russian -Turkish Liberation

immigrate to Moldova. The settlement is
known under the name of Urum Eni Kyoi until
